Mobile app

Voozzle

Voozzle was an iPhone app that made visual voicemail available across mobile providers, allowing users to view callers and play individual messages in any order.

Summary

Voozzle started with a frustration many iPhone users shared: voicemail still worked like an outdated telephone menu. Messages had to be played in a fixed order, with no convenient way to see who had called or choose what to hear first.

I helped create Voozzle to bring the visual voicemail experience to people whose mobile providers did not support it. Instead of navigating repetitive voice menus, users could see their messages in one clear overview, identify callers and listen to each voicemail separately in any order.

Voozzle worked independently of the user’s mobile provider. This made visual voicemail accessible to a much wider audience and offered an experience that felt more appropriate for a modern smartphone.

The product turned an inconvenient, linear process into something visual and intuitive. It was a practical example of how software can improve an established service by rethinking it around the user.

Working on Voozzle strengthened my interest in creating digital products that remove unnecessary friction. The technology behind a product can be complex, but the experience itself should always feel simple.
